About this event

Are you interested in getting started with shooting AR-Tactical or F-Class in the matches organized by Bayou Rifles, but you are not sure what equipment is needed or how the matches are run? Then this class is for you!

In this class you will learn from experienced shooters what equipment is needed to participate, how matches are run, what the safety rules and protocols are during matches and how to sign up for matches on the club calendar. This class will cover both AR-Tactical and F-Class.

You will also have the opportunity to shoot both an AR-Tactical rifle and an F-Class rifle at 300 yards, under guidance of experienced instructors.

Only instructor provided firearms will be used as part of this class. You can bring your equipment and firearms to have them be evaluated by instructors after the class finishes, but firearms brought by participants will not be fired as part of the class.

The cost of the class is $25. The duration is estimated to be 3.5 hours.

The class will start promptly at 8 am. The class is under the cover at the 300 yard line so the weather will have to be really bad for the class to be canceled due to weather.
