Bayou Rifles Addick Range
Range #1
Smallbore Rifle Silhouette matches will be held at the Bayou Rifles Addicks Range on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th. This is a Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA) sanctioned State Championship and an NRA Registered State match. Friday will be a practice day. Saturday will have an 80 shot Standard Rifle match, shot in two 40-shot stages. Sunday will be an 80 shot Hunter Rifle match, shot in two 40-shot stages. A 160 shot Benchrest silhouette match will be held simultaneously with the smallbore rifle matches, shot in two 40-shot stages each day.

Addicks Range 1 Closed for TSRA State Match
This Match will be shot at on the 1000 Yard Range at 200, 300 and 600 Yards. These matches are held generally on the second Sunday of the month. Participants compete with a Service Rifle or Match Rifle, in the standing, sitting and prone position from the distances of 200, 300 and 600 yards. There are 4 matches, each with 20 shots for record and 2 sighters, for a total of 88 shots for record.
8:00 AM - Competitors meet at the targets to set up E-Targets. Competitors living more than 100 miles away should meet at the firing line at 8:30 for roll call.

The 50, 25 and all pistol bays will be closed for the Steel Fun Shoot. If you were looking to shoot a pistol or pistol caliber carbine at this time please consider coming to this match instead.
Event is held at all Juliff pistol bays and the 25/50 yard range from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The cost is $10 for members and $20 for guests. Juniors (under 18) may shoot for free. Schedule:
• 7:00 AM - Range setup, check-in/walk-on sign up begins
• 8:00 AM - Sign up ends, range safety briefing and stage descriptions
• 8:30 AM - shooting begins
The 6-8 stages are based upon steel challenge. You will be shooting at 5 steel targets (large) at approximately 12 yards for time. You can get the idea of what the fun shoot is about by searching youtube for steel challenge.
Round count will remain approximately 100-200 (most rim fire pistols and rifles can shoot, Rifles and Pistols chambered using non-magnum loads can shoot [such as 9mm, 45 ACP, 40 s&w, 357 sig]. For semiautomatic firearms it is recommended you have at least two magazines.
Pre Register is encourage and the registration link will be sent to you prior to the event We are using private events so you will need the link to preregister. On sight registration is allowed until either 8:00am or 36 have registered.
Shooters new to the even please show up by 7:30 for orientation.
This is a class that will teach participants about AR-Tactical and F-Class shooting and matches. After participating in this class you will know everything you need to come shoot in the Mid Range Prone Highpower matches!
Plinkathon is a fun shoot event with teams shooting half-scale metallic animal silhouette targets, Chickens at 40 meters, Pigs at 50 meters, Turkeys at 75 meters and Rams at 100 meters. Teams are formed by a random card draw the morning of the event and compete against each other in a round-robin format to see who can clear their target banks the quickest. Plinkathon is shot at the Addicks Range #4 on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Membership in Bayou Rifles is not required to participate.
Juliff Long Range, north of Rosharon, south of Houston
The 600 Yard Mid Range match is usually held on the third Sunday of the month. Participants compete in the F-Open, F-TR, Palma, Any-Rifle or Service Rifle categories shooting in the prone position.
